K2 is running a public beta of a new packaging and deployment tool kit. This technology allows K2 solutions to be packaged and deployed to various K2 server environments.

Deployment of any business process application is complex. There are many moving parts. From our field experience we know that deployment of these apps take time and effort. The packaging and deployment tool kit simplifies the deployment process. It creates a single solution package with all the dependencies which can be easily moved around and deployed.

We do not need to have any other software deployed in these target K2 environments. This makes an administrator’s life easy in managing the deployment of K2 based solutions. This tool is great for companies like jEyLaBs to easily bring our solutions to market as packaging is taken care of by K2.
